Intersectional Authenticity with LGBTQ+ Clients

About the Course

Intersectionality is a necessary frame for understanding the ways that some groups hold multiple oppressed identities at the same time. The compounding nature of that oppression can frequently lead to violence, social inequality, and other negative implications for these groups.

Radical Authenticity, developed by Moe Ari Brown, LMFT, is an intersectional approach to understanding the ways that those marginalized identities can be integrated, accepted, and embraced despite opposition, violence, or discrimination by external forces. In this webinar, learn to implement Radical Authenticity into your practiceas it could be vital and protective for many LGBTQIA+ clients as they navigate the challenges of living in societies that cumulatively oppress their identities.
