POSITION OVERVIEW
We are a fast-paced startup looking to add core marketing competencies to our small team. We need a marketer who can jump in and start adding value and driving results as we work to fine-tune our overarching strategy. Our ideal candidate is a strong writer, has experience managing and executing marketing campaigns, and possesses demonstrated experience in graphic design. This role is instrumental in advancing our marketing initiatives and enhancing our brand presence across diverse channels. The Marketing & Visual Communications Manager will lead the execution of marketing programs and campaigns, while also creating graphic design assets to support our marketing and communications efforts.
This position is intentionally broad in the spirit of supporting our small and nimble startup; we all wear multiple hats. An estimated 30-40% of this role will involve design-related work and qualified candidates must be able to demonstrate experience in quality graphic design execution as related to marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Marketing Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns to drive engagement, leads, and sales.
- Social Media Management: Create, curate, and manage content for social media channels to build a strong online presence and community engagement.
- Content Creation: Produce high-quality written and visual content for blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing channels.
- Graphic Design: Create visually appealing graphics for digital and print media, including social media posts, email campaigns, website assets, and marketing collateral.
- SEO Strategy and Implementation: Help develop and implement SEO strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic traffic.
- CRM and Marketing Automation: Utilize CRM and marketing automation tools to streamline and enhance marketing efforts.
- Digital Advertising: Plan and manage digital advertising campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and others.
- Analytics and Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required (preferably marketing, communications, or digital media/graphic design)
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role (e.g., digital marketing manager, content marketer, marketing associate, etc.) crafting marketing campaigns from start to finish
- Familiarity with email marketing applications (e.g., SendGrid, HubSpot) and engagement metrics
- Familiarity with inbound marketing software (e.g. HubSpot) and concepts
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere, and After Effects
- Prior experience with digital media design work (graphics, video, audio)
- Portfolio must be submitted with resume that reflects prior campaigns
- Basic working knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Solid project and task management skills
- Ability to work independently to plan, organize, and set/achieve priorities related to day-to-day tasks and projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a clear attention to detail

The actual base salary for the chosen candidate will depend on various factors, such as job-related knowledge and skills, experience, and geographical location. We are a startup; it is rare for someone to be hired at the higher end of the pay range for their role. Psych Hub compensation decisions are made based on the specifics of each position and candidate.
