Modalities of Treatment With Eating Disorders

About the Course

We have seen a steady increase in the rate of eating disorders in the past several years, influenced by a variety of factors, including social media, diet culture and COVID-19 repercussions. The increase suggests that more practitioners may be providing care to clients with eating disorders, and a need for increased knowledge and skills in providing effective care for clients with eating disorders. This course will help deconstruct the language of eating disorders and provide an overview of evidence-based theories to help treat patients, helping practitioners use skills they already possess to help treat this epidemic.
